Although known for the sandwiches, the arancini is perfectly satisfying, well seasoned and packs a nice crunch while holding it's shape. By accident I ordered two instead, but I think this is a happy mistake. Rice is nice!

As for the sandwich, the bread is delicious and the perfect texture. No scraping of the mouth, just a firm yet light crust and chewy center. Lots of fillings to choose from. I got the eggplant which is great for veg, but I think I would have preferred something more meaty.

Perfect stop for a quick bite and drink. There is another room to sit and eat, but it was quite hot inside so I opted to eat in the park nearby.

Could eat this for lunch everyday !
Well priced and tasty. This place is tucked in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Rome. The ambience is laid back and friendly . Came here 4 times during my trip to Rome . Had the melanzane , pollo cacciatore, polpette al sugo and some suppli.
Will definitely stop by on my next trip to Rome , can't wait !

Went here during a food tour and didn't even realize they had one of these located in NY - where I am often am. After hearing this, I questioned the Roman authenticity of it. However, upon having the meatball and eggplant parm, both were really good. The bread and sauce combined with the other ingredients just make it delicious.

I would be curious to see how NY compares to the Rome location...

I don't have any pictures of my food because I devoured it immediately. Oh, it was SO good. My favorite was the Egyptian one. There's limited seating inside, but extra seating nextdoor. It was so good I got another to take home.

Delicious. And fairly priced! I asked what they recommended and i was not disappointed.

Only $5 euros for a STUFFED chicken cacciatore . The bread is delicious and the meat is stewed and OMG I could eat this every day!
